ASIP Santé unveils the programme for its annual conference

Politique publique | 10 Mar 2012

ASIP Santé is organising its annual conference which will take place on 15 March. This major annual event will be an opportunity to focus on priorities and prospects for e-health in 2012 and to review the electronic health record.

According to the Agency’s founding agreement, the ASIP Santé annual conference is an opportunity to review its achievements over the last year and to report on its medium- and long-term development prospects.
With the objective of bringing together as many partners of ASIP Santé as possible, the event will welcome almost 200 delegates from organisations with which the agency works on a daily basis to make e-health a reality. Representatives from patient associations, professional associations, doctors’ unions, professional unions and manufacturers’ federations, national and regional institutional partners, will all be attending to review what has been achieved and what lies ahead in terms of e-health development.

The morning will start with a speech by Nora Berra, Secretary of State for Health, followed by a talk by Michel Gagneux, President of ASIP Santé. The conference will then be able to look at issues associated with the protection of the patient’s healthcare data and priorities and prospects for e-health. This morning session will also be an opportunity to review the electronic health record project, based on indicators on its use, its image and its reputation. Finally, two round-tables will look at aspects associated with the use of the electronic health record in daily practice and how it will be rolled out in 2012. (See the full programme below)

Going beyond a simple review of action plans, this second ASIP Santé annual conference is intended as an opportunity to promote exchanges between the different partners who, since it was founded two years ago, have been working with the agency to make e-health a reality.
