On Thursday 15 March, ASIP Santé held its annual conference. This large-scale meeting involved the agency's partners, and included a detailed review of the launch of the electronic health record (DMP) and of work done in 2011; in particular, there was a free exchange about the priorities and prospects for e-health in 2012.
VIDEO 1 - BRINGING PEOPLE TOGETHER (in French)
In their introductory speeches, François-Xavier SELLERET, Michel GAGNEUX and Jean-Yves ROBIN agreed on the need to unite all those involved in e-health around a common goal, and emphasized that the role of the DMP service was to act as a catalyst for the modernization of the French healthcare system.

From joint ventures with industry to medical ethics, Joël KARECKI and Jacques LUCAS explain the issues involved in e-health in the medium to long term, and the prospects for the future.

Anne MONNIER, Hervé DELENGAIGNE and Laurent HABERT provide food for thought on the subject of rolling out the DMP service in 2012, and compare their experiences locally at various levels of the healthcare system: in hospitals, in the regions, and nationwide.

Representatives from doctors' unions, patients' associations and a manager involved in the rollout of the DMP service agreed on the importance of integrating the DMP into professional practice.
