Home hospital treatment and information systems: the challenges of sharing and exchanging health data
- On 18 May 2010, ASIP Santé and the hospital‐at‐home organization (FNEHAD) presented the partnership agreement they had just signed. The agreement covers good practice, and the coherence, performance, interoperability and security of the systems for exchanging and sharing health data that have been implemented in home hospital treatment institutions.
- This partnership is intended as a tailored response to the challenges arising from the increase in home hospital treatment within the organization of healthcare provision in France. Its aim is to improve computerization in home hospital treatment structures and find solutions that guarantee "home‐based" access to the electronic health record (DMP) and the development of telemedicine.
