MODERNIZING THE HEALTHCARE SYSTEM BY DEVELOPING INNOVATION.
The reform of the governance of health information systems, which most notably led to the establishment of the shared healthcare information systems agency (ASIP Santé), started in April 2009. This was when the main lines of the operational relaunch of the electronic health record (DMP) and health-related information systems were announced. The objective of this reform is to consolidate the management of public projects and thus create the ideal conditions for the emergence and development of shared health information systems, to meet the growing challenges associated with telemedicine and the DMP in particular.
