The European project myHealth@myHands in a nutshell
The myHealth@myHands project aims to facilitate digital healthcare across the European Union by 2030. Aligned with the objectives of the European Health Data Space (EHDS) regulation, its main goal is to guarantee all EU citizens secure online access to their medical records, simplifying the management of their health.
The project thus empowers citizens by allowing them to control their health data and determine who can access this information, while benefiting from personalized health support.
Building on the existing MyHealth@EU infrastructure, the project aims to improve the interoperability of data and systems and facilitate a consistent healthcare experience across the EU.
The myHealth@myHands project is also setting up a knowledge and best practices hub to support collaborative efforts within the healthcare community. Through these efforts, we strive to significantly improve the overall healthcare ecosystem for the benefit of all EU citizens.
The participation of the Agence du Numérique en Santé (ANS) in the European myHealth@myHands project
Support the regulation for the European Health Data Space, strengthen the MyHealth@EU infrastructure, and promote data interoperability in Europe.
The ANS is the national e-health contact point (NCPeH) for France within the European MyHealth@EU infrastructure for the secure exchange of health data between European Union member states. The ANS operates SESALI – the European Online Health Service, which allows healthcare professionals in France to access the health information of European patients in order to provide appropriate and secure care.
The ANS has joined the European myHealth@myHands project to contribute to the goal of enabling every citizen of the European Union to easily and securely access their health data from anywhere in Europe. ANS is engaged in testing and interoperability efforts, as well as the integration of the EUID Wallet for citizen identification.
A European collective project
The MyHealth@myHands project brings together around forty organizations from across Europe, including public institutions, research centers, industrial players, and associations.
